"The Pursit of Happiness to the Land of Oppurtunties"

"Immigrants with their belongings pictured outside the Main Building at Ellis Island." Ready for a new experience; on what? What, they just left. "With a great amount of mass comes disaster." -Geradar Victor.

After exploring the photographs and the great amount of people coming in as families; I realized the feelings and experiences immigrants coming to the United States at the turn of the century seemed very eager to just experience something new in a place full with oppurtunites and freedom. Little did they know things that are known by the public are not the best experiences. Here is a picture were "Immigrants are sworn in as United States citizens at a 1917 naturalization ceremony in Newark, New Jersey."- It's pretty packed. Also very excited -immigrants - ready to began fresh as you can see in this picture. Where they are"Approved for entry, these immigrants wait in the Ellis Island Railroad Ticket Office." Is fully loaded with kids, women and men with so much hope and faith in their hearts for a better life; In my opinion they will not recieve what's so ever because the capacity of people in that little area caused for just complete hardship and criminal activity to arise. Resulting in disaster!
